Are Tsukihime and F/SN in the same universe?
Yes, but nothing is explicitly said. There are some characters that crossover into other series, or are mentioned directly or indirectly by people. Many of the same organizations and philosophies are the same, as well. Such characters include the Aozaki Sisters, Zelretch, Tohno Akiha, and Ciel.
What is Tsukihime about?
It's about some guy who meets a vampire. It gets too complicated to explain after that. You can play the game, watch the anime, read the manga, or read through EvoSpace's walkthroughs on Moonlit World.
What is the difference between True Ancestors and Dead Apostles?
How come the anime for Tsukihime is so lame? I thought it was good!
The Tsukihime anime was changed by the whims of the director. A lot of things were left unsaid, some things were plain wrong, and it didn't answer a lot of questions. Also, it's not bad, per se, but it could have been much better. I'll add more later.
